As it always is the case, Stromvos started as an idea sparked by a need!
The whole idea has evolved quite some years ago and was eventually founded in 2021. Being a mom of three wonderful children and having lived abroad as an expat myself for many years, I understand the importance of building and maintaining a strong connection with Greece and life in the homeland. Our subscription boxes are directed to Greek parents and children who permanently live abroad and would like to form a solid attachment to their roots and heritage.
Stromvos is the vehicle in which Greek culture travels everywhere in the world and brings children closer to their homeland in a fun way by following the Greek calendar that is full of customs, traditions, and festivities impregnated by a long and rich history. Our boxes of entertaining and learning activities based on the Greek folkloric wealth are especially designed to enrich kids’ sense of belonging through language development, play, exploration, and gastronomic experiences.
